professionals, entrepreneurs and managers who are seeking
a truly effective and sustainable pathway to realizing their ideal future. Intentional Enterprise is about functioning from a place of unparalelled, heart-centred clarity.
The 4 Principles
Leverage the Constructive, Positive Core
Clarify Your Experience Vision
Refine Your Primary Intention
Be Accountable to Your Primary Intention
Leverage the Constructive, Positive Core
Appreciative Inquiry forms the backbone to this principle. When we speak of leveraging the constructive, positive core, we mean uncovering underutilized knowledge and strengths that already exist within the individual, team or system and using them to create the desired result. Tremendous creativity is unleashed when we rediscover the vast experience and knowledge we have buried or disregarded. Our self-confidence improves remarkably.
Clarify
Your Experience Vision
It is vital to go well beyond the traditional vision
statement and have a clear picture of the experience or story of what
is to be created and why. An Experience Vision weaves together the full experience
of our desired future so that we clearly know where
we are going and will recognize it when we arrive. We are, in essence, making the future present in its most vivid detail and keeping the picture whole.
Refine Your Primary Intention
"At the exact moment we become crystal clear about our Primary Intention we are touched by a profound opening to our true self. We realize that we have arrived at the place where enormous insight and creativity are unveiled. We have travelled well past popular understanding of intention and purpose to a more significant level of experience." Ron Velin
What is "primary intention"? It is the heart's truest purpose. Primary intention is a true message from our heart, from our inner Self. It is a phenomenon that we do not have to remember. Primary Intention remembers us!
Primary Intention underlies and is the essence of what we desire, but is not based in desire. It is the distilled expression of what we truly long to experience. It pulsates at the heart of our dreams and guides our evolution. It flows through everything we are and everything we aspire to be. It is the heart's intelligence and provides a doorway to practical consciousness.
We do not set or choose a primary intention - it is revealed through systematic reflection and contemplation. It bypasses mission and purpose statements so we can be truly guided from the heart.
Most popular literature and media refer to “manifestation of our desires" as the key focus of a good intention. Or that the purpose of intention is to fulfill our visions and wants. This is grossly incomplete. It assumes that what we want is fixed, absolute.
One Kabalistic text talks about Kavanah (Intention). "It is the goal, but there is no goal." We must understand that each vision we have, each goal we set, is our best guess, a strategy for fulfilling our primary intention, and not the other way around. Primary Intention shows us instantly that anything we want outside of ourselves ultimately leads to an inner longing. Primary Intention is the distilled expression of that longing.
We have developed an advanced process which surpasses the typical treatment of intention and ensures that the heart is heard cleanly and clearly.
There is a place beyond the constructs of mission and purpose where a new level of clarity dwells. We must go beyond the thin understanding of intention circulating in the world to the true essence of what the mystical paths teach. Then, by marrying the distilled Primary Intention to a clear Experience Vision, a powerful dynamic is unleashed.
Be Accountable to Your Primary Intention and Vision
How do we know we are moving forward in
alignment with our Primary Intention and Experience Vision? We distill our Primary Intention properly. We carry a heightened awareness of it and enter a process of growing comprehension. By being rigorous and creative, the intention is “welded” to our awareness so that it cannot be forgotten.
We need clear, practical milestones and actions which act as markers to your intention and Experience Vision. We must engage and take action which supports our most important aspirations or they will die.
As well, we must be realistic in addressing challenges, successes and obstacles as they occur – all in the context of realizing our ideal future. We are more able to make adjustments on-the-fly when we are being continually accountable to what is clearly intended and open to our heart's guidance.
